ahaha really funny ,"kde4life", get it? xDD
... ok, ill stop it. ;P
anyway, after lots of trouble getting kde4 live to compile (dunno why, but kdelibs just didnt want to compile, randomly stopped at various points) its now running just fine, and i have to admit its getting better everyday. Its even usable without getting me frustrated after 5 minutes of constant "WTFing".
What catched my heart the most is all of this useless, yet cool eyecandy. For example wobbly windows, which is working great even when playing 3d games on wine or watching videos. There are no problems at all, thou my pc isnt that good.
Also the region where i live has barely any snow at all in winter, so now i got all the snow i want on my desktop (i wonder if you could make it so the snow stays on top of the windows :D).
Oh, i should mention too that im using the most current nvidia beta drivers, located
here.
Well, after using kde4 for maybe 20 minutes i decided i wont need kde3.5 anymore.
If you dont like kde live, i suggest you wait until kde4.2 is released officially on january 27.
kde4.1 may have been a huge step after 4.0, but it still has lots of problems which can easily frustrate the one using it.
